Hello,
My name is Anthony and I am organizing several efforts to provide free fresh meals to the needy people in our community this holiday season. As I am sure you are aware grocery prices have risen considerably over the past year, and as a result there are many people who live around us that cannot afford to buy and prepare fresh hearty meals.
After having contacted many charity services I was surprised to learn none accepted donations of fresh food. They simply don’t have the infrastructure to store or prepare meals for the needy in our community given fresh ingredients. Instead, they only accept canned or shelf stable products such as cereal or potato chips. I feel people need to eat the occasional fresh hot meals and I’ve decided to do something about this problem this holiday season.
From now until the end of 2024 I will be collecting meat, cheese, deli products, and baked goods from Publix Supermarkets and personally preparing fresh meals for people in need this holiday season.
If your organization would like to help in this endeavor, I would gladly extend my money, time, and effort to contribute to this cause along with you.
