Meals for Brevard

Giving to those who deserve appreciation

Thank You Zooom Studios

I teach children courses in computer programming and electronics and recently had the pleasure of meeting with Zooom Studios in Cape Canaveral. They actually make fun, an element that is often missing today, as they design and fabricate prize winning electromechanical game machines.

Thank You Publix Supermarkets

Publix Supermarkets graciously donated over $800 of food this week to help provide meals for Brevard. We will be using these item to prepare home cooked meals for families and groups around Brevard county who are in need of appreciation. Some of the dishes I will be personally preparing are turkey casserole, spanakopita, pulled pork, glazed sliced ham, and cakes and pies.

Thank You Romelia Farms

Romelia Farms provides safe haven to a variety of animals in need of attentive care. Located in Merritt Island Romelia Farms is a 501C charitable organization that depends on people like you to help care for, feed, and house neglected animals, placing their quality of life and welfare above all else. In appreciation of their efforts we recognize their organization in need of our support.

Poké Fin Opens New Store

My friend Ron opened another fresh food Poké Fin restaurant on Saturday. This second store is located in Satellite Beach within the Atlantic Plaza shopping center. Poké Fin dishes up fresh bowls of fish proteins served over rice or greens with your choice of an amazing assortment of cool veggie toppings.

Lunches for Hurricane Workers

Local workers who helped our community recover from hurricanes Ian and Nicole by clearing fallen trees from roads, inspected and repaired boardwalk crossovers, and aided residents with recovery after home flooding problems were surprised yesterday with a warm reception and a luncheon tribute.

Gifting Key Lime Pies

Every holiday season I bake several homemade key lime pies and give them to friends and family, but this year something different is planned. I need help from you in finding the right people for these pies. My target is to bake 50 pies and give them away.

Serving Perfect Ribs

At my first fresh free food event this past Saturday, one of the food items I featured was racks of mouth watering ribs. Some of the people at the event really wanted to know how I was able to cook those delicious crusty ribs with such a tender and moist center. This article explains how you can cook those same ribs at your home.

Saturday’s Free Meals

The first free fresh meals event was a big success. As you can see from the image to the right, I served up a few racks of BBQ pork ribs. Even though I had about 10 pounds of ribs, a dozen fresh chicken street tacos, and a dozen or so BBQ sandwiches, I ran out of materials in less than an hour.

Free Fresh Food Saturday

I am providing free fresh meals this Saturday. If the ever increasing price of groceries is pinching you, please come by the Dixie Lane picnic pavilion between the Florida Surf Museum and Ron Jon's Shop on Saturday December 3 2020 between the hours and 12:00 and 1 pm.
