Thank You Cape Canaveral Hospital Staff

Our first Meals for Brevard thanks of appreciation for 2024 goes to the staff of Cape Canaveral Hospital. Their emergency room, intensive care, and hospice units work in shifts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. Often the men and women who make up these units are thought of only at the time when their help is required. But the dedicated people who staff these units are always there for everyone, even when you aren’t thinking about them. They go above and beyond when they are called upon each day and sorely deserve our attentive appreciation.

This past Sunday, April 28 2024, we hand delivered letters of thanks to the caring people that make up these departments, along with some boxes of our best fresh homemade key lime pies. We hope this small token of gratitude offered them at least a moment of heartfelt appreciation. I was honored to meet some of the staff, and encourage the rest of our community to pause for a moment and reflect upon the much needed service they provide to all of us all day and all year.

Thank you to the staff of Cape Canaveral Hospital. You are in my heart and I am sure in the heart of our beach community as well.
